Taylor Swift - Short Biography

Taylor Swift is a highly successful singer and songwriter who has released 10 studio albums, 2 re-recorded studio albums, 4 EPs, 3 live albums, and 19 other minor works. She has sold an estimated 114 million album units worldwide and has topped the charts in various countries around the world.

Swift began her music career in 2005 when she signed with Big Machine Records and released her self-titled debut album the following year. Over the next few years, she released a series of successful albums including Fearless, Speak Now, and Red, which all topped the Billboard 200 chart. In 2014, she released 1989, which became her first number-one album in the United Kingdom and spent 11 weeks atop the Billboard 200.

In 2017, Swift released Reputation, which sold over one million copies in its debut week and was certified 3x Platinum by the RIAA. In 2018, she left Big Machine Records and signed with Universal Music Group's label Republic Records. In 2019, she released Lover, which became the year's global best-selling album by a solo artist.

In 2020, Swift released Folklore and Evermore, which both spent multiple weeks atop the Billboard 200 chart. In 2022, Swift's album Midnights broke sales and streaming records, including the biggest US single-week vinyl sales and the most single-day streams on Spotify.

- The video begins with a shot of Taylor Swift as the Cinderella-inspired character "House Wrench Taylor" cleaning the floor of an attic.
- Her three stepsisters, Lady Este, Lady Danielle and Lady Alana, played by Este, Danielle and Alana Haim of the band Haim, enter the room and talk about a ball being held at a Prince Charming's castle.
- He has launched a contest in which young women are invited to participate to win a castle and a proposal from the prince.
- The three sisters and their mother, played by Laura Dern, make fun of Taylor Swift, who they believe has no right to enter the contest.
- During this sequence, the background music is the song Enchanted, from the album Speak Now, played on a violin.
- When the music from Bejeweled begins, Taylor Swift turns to a painting that depicts a portrait of Prince Jack, played by Jack Antonoff.
