The song "Beth" is a hit by the American rock band KISS, originally released on the album "Destroyer" in 1976. Although drummer Peter Criss was credited with writing the song, his friend Stan Penridge was the main writer. The song was produced by Bob Ezrin and released by Casablanca Records as a single in August 1976, after being featured on the B-side of "Detroit Rock City". "Beth" was KISS' biggest commercial success in the United States, reaching #7 on the Billboard Hot 100, receiving an RIAA Gold Record certification and winning the 1977 People's Choice Award for "Favorite Song."
