The protagonist is walking through a town that is deserted and hungry. He goes knocking on doors but no one answers, so he looks inside the windows of each house and sees people watching TV. He goes to the power stations on a hill and turns off the electricity, causing the town to go dark except for one candle. The candle attracts people to gather and they bring food and drinks. They have a fun time together singing and telling stories. However, when the power comes back on, the people quickly go back to their houses. The protagonist continues walking and eventually finds a house with one candle in the window. He knows he can't rest and needs to keep going.
