"Break Every Rule" is a song performed by the legendary Tina Turner, released in 1986 as the title track of her album of the same name. The song was also the title of her 1987-88 world tour. It was written by British composer Rupert Hine and Jeanette Obstoj, who had previously composed "I Might Have Been Queen" for Turner's "Private Dancer" album. Although it didn't have much success on the U.S. or U.K. charts, the song reached number 21 on the Austrian top 40. The video clip shows Turner on stage and backstage during his tour.
