Feeder - Short Biography

- Feeder is a Welsh rock band that has released 11 studio albums and 43 singles.
- They have won two Kerrang! Awards and were inducted into their Hall of Fame in 2019.
- The band was formed in 1994, with Grant Nicholas, Jon Lee and Simon Blight as the original members.
- They released their third album, Echo Park, in 2001 and its lead single, "Buck Rogers," reached the top 5 in the UK.
- Between 2010 and 2017, they recorded four top 20 albums, including The Best of Feeder in 2017, their second consecutive top 10 album. In 2019, they signed a deal with Believe UK to release their tenth studio album, Tallulah.

- The song was not originally intended to be theirs, as Nicholas had written it for SR-71, but producer Gil Norton and Echo's A and R team convinced the band that they could have a hit with the song, after hearing a demo recorded by Feeder.
- The title of the song was inspired by the television show of the same name, as Nicholas wanted to create a futuristic sound.
- Critical reaction was largely positive, with the song being named by Kerrang! magazine as one of the "666 songs you must own" in November 2004, and appearing on several other lists, although the NME gave a very negative reaction, stating that the single would be "lucky to reach the top 30".
