She encourages him to stop being insecure and ruining things because he has so much to live for. The protagonist then talks about a time device inside of him that makes him feel like he's falling apart. He has a constant presence of paranoia and feels like he's tearing himself apart. The song ends with the idea of self-destruction and the need to let go of those destructive thoughts.
