- Moshe Brand, better known as Mike Brant, was born on February 1, 1947 in Famagusta, Cyprus, and died on April 25, 1975 in Paris, France.
He was an Israeli singer and songwriter.

- He committed suicide at the age of 28 by jumping from the window of a Paris apartment.

- He left behind a wife and two young children.

- He was posthumously inducted into the Cyprus Music Hall of Fame in 2009.
