Pink - Short Biography

Alecia Beth Moore, better known by her stage name Pink, is an American singer, songwriter and actress. She was born on September 8, 1979 in Doylestown, Pennsylvania (USA).

Pink began her musical career as a member of the girl group Choice in 1995. However, she became famous as a solo artist in 2000 with her debut album "Can't Take Me Home". This album, which was a mix of R&B and pop music, was a commercial success and spawned hit songs like "There You Go" and "Most Girls".

Pink's second album, "M!ssundaztood", released in 2001, moved away from her R&B roots and featured a more rock sound. This album was a critical and commercial success and spawned hit songs like "Get the Party Started," "Don't Let Me Get Me" and "Just Like a Pill." Over the years, Pink has continued to release critically acclaimed albums and has become one of the best-selling musical artists of all time.

In addition to her musical career, Pink has also appeared in several movies and television shows, including "Charlie's Angels: Full Throttle" and "Happy Feet Two." The song received very positive reviews. Commercially, it was a success, becoming Pink's fifth top ten single on the US Billboard Hot 100, reaching number eight, and her first number one on the Billboard Mainstream Top 40. Outside the U.S., the song became Pink's second consecutive number one single in New Zealand and reached the top 10 in 14 other countries, including Australia, Ireland, Sweden and the United Kingdom. A video was released in January 2002 to promote the single.
