- Dragostea din tei (pronounced [ˈdraɡoste̯a din ˈtej]) is a song by the Moldavian band O-Zone, sung in Romanian.
- The title means, literally, "Love of the Linden Tree," which doesn't really make sense. It would be a pun on "Dragostea dintâi", which means "First love".
- It is known for its refrain "nu mă, nu mă iei" which means "You don't take me, you don't take me".
- The song had a second life and was popularized overseas and around the world thanks to the Numa Numa video by Gary Brolsma.
- There have been several covers and parodies of Dragostea din tei, such as in 2004 by the singer Haiducii (en).
- In 2008, the American rapper T.I. sampled Dragostea din tei, accompanied by the singer Rihanna on the song "Live Your Life" which reached the second place on the American Billboard Hot 100.
- Model Alina Pușcău remade the song in English on the remix "When You Leave (Numa Numa)" by DJ Basshunter.
