"Elevator" is a hit by American rapper Flo Rida and the first single from his debut album "Mail on Sunday". Produced by Timbaland, the song features his percussion and voice. The piano intro is based on John Carpenter's Halloween theme tune, while the second verse mimics the chorus of "The Donque Song" by Will.i.am featuring Snoop Dogg. The background vocals are sung by Kiley Dean, a former Beat Club label artist. The structure, tone and rhythm of "Elevator" is similar to Madonna's "4 Minutes" featuring Justin Timberlake and Timbaland. The song gained immense popularity and was even featured in the Gossip Girl series, specifically in the episode "Desperately Seeking Serena".
