Prince - Short Biography

Prince Rogers Nelson (1958-2016) was an American singer-songwriter, musician, and producer widely regarded as one of the greatest of his generation. Known for his flamboyant, androgynous personality and wide vocal range, Prince self-produced his albums and pioneered the Minneapolis sound, which incorporates a variety of styles including funk, R&B, rock, new wave, soul, synth-pop, pop, jazz and hip hop.

"Erotic City" is a song by musician Prince. It was released as the B-side of the single "Let's Go Crazy" in 1984, and as the maxi version of the single "Girls & Boys" in 1986. A dance remix of "Erotic City" was released in Germany as a 3" and 5" CD single in 1989 and 1990, respectively. The single's artwork features the same image of Prince that was used for the cover of "I Would Die 4 U". The maxi version of the latter was included as the B-side of "Erotic City". The song was released in two versions, with the maxi remix as the B-side of "Let's Go Crazy", and the remix appearing on "The Hits/The B-Sides".
