- The band currently consists of Tom Chaplin, Tim Rice-Oxley, Richard Hughes and Jesse Quin.
- Their original lineup included founder and guitarist Dominic Scott, who left the band in 2001.
- The band is known for their use of piano and melodies in their songs.
- They have released six studio albums and have sold over 20 million records worldwide.
