🎶 Everybody Wants to Rule the World song analysis
The song "Everybody Wants to Rule the World" by Tears for Fears explores themes of power, ambition, and the universal desire for control. It suggests that in life, there is a constant pursuit of dominance and influence, even in our subconscious states. The lyrics highlight the human tendency to act in self-interest, turning away from the natural order of things and seeking to establish authority over others. The song also touches upon the transient nature of power and the fleeting nature of pleasure, emphasizing that nothing lasts forever. They want their children to have a better education, they want their jobs to be more secure, they want their public services to be improved."
