"Excuse Me Miss" is a song by American rapper Jay-Z, released on February 4, 2003 as the single for his seventh studio album, The Blueprint 2: The Gift & The Curse. The song was co-written by Jay-Z and producers The Neptunes, and features a hook sung by Pharrell Williams in a falsetto voice. The lyrics reference love at first sight, and the song has a more mature sound than Jay-Z's other songs about women, such as "Girls, Girls, Girls" and "I Just Wanna Love U." The song samples Prince's 1990 song "Walk Don't Walk," Luther Vandross' 2001 hit "Take You Out," as well as "Big Poppa" by The Notorious B.I.G..
