What is Food For Thought about?
🎶 Food For Thought song analysis
The lyrics describe a desperate situation where an impoverished and malnourished man is unaware of his own death, while politicians only care about their own gains and trade the lives of innocent babies. The song also mentions an Ivory Virgin (perhaps a symbol of purity and innocence), who is dying in the dust and waiting for help from the West. The chorus brings a glimmer of hope by proclaiming the birth of Jesus and the arrival of joy, but it is not certain that this is enough to save the dying Madonna and the people she represents.
