- Jeffrey Scott Buckley is an American singer, songwriter and guitarist.
- He came to prominence in the early 1990s performing cover songs at venues in Manhattan's East Village.
- Buckley eventually signed with Columbia Records and recruited a band to record his only studio album, Grace, in 1994.
- Buckley rejected interest from record companies and Herb Cohen, the manager of his father, singer Tim Buckley.
- Grace was critically acclaimed and has since been cited by critics as one of the best albums of all time.
