The Beach Boys - Short Biography

The Beach Boys are an American rock band that formed in 1961 in Hawthorne, California. The original lineup consisted of brothers Brian, Dennis and Carl Wilson, their cousin Mike Love and their friend Al Jardine. The band is known for its vocal harmonies, teenage-themed lyrics and musical ingenuity. They are one of the most influential bands of the rock era, and one of the few American rock bands to have maintained its commercial position during the British Invasion. From the beginning, Brian Wilson was the band's composer, arranger, producer and de facto leader.

"I Can Hear Music" is a song originally written by Jeff Barry, Ellie Greenwich and Phil Spector for the Ronettes in 1966, but their version didn't chart very well. However, in 1969, the Beach Boys covered the song on their album 20/20 and released it as a single, which reached #24 in the United States. The song is a classic example of '60s pop rock, with catchy melodies, tight harmonies, and an upbeat, joyful atmosphere.
