Orpheus is questioning if the rumors he's heard about his love leaving him are true, and wonders if the world is really as harsh and unchanging as people say it is. Even though he thinks he's alone, the workers around him hear him and stand with him. Orpheus believes that their collective strength and belief in the truth can overcome any lies and manipulation that the few try to impose on the many. In the end, Orpheus asks everyone to tell him if what they say is true and decides to move forward with their support.
