David Guetta is an indisputable heavyweight in the world of electronic music. Born in France in 1967, the award-winning DJ and producer got his start DJ-ing and promoting his own club nights around the country in the late 1980s. After achieving a small hit with the track “Up and Away” featuring Robert Owens, Guetta went on to form Gum Productions in 2001 and released a string of successful singles and remixes, including a popular electro-clash version of David Bowie's “Heroes.” His 2006 mash-up of “Love Don't Let Me Go” and The Egg's “Walking Away” was a major hit in the UK, paving the way for his fourth album One Love (2007).
