"Keep on Loving You" is a popular soft rock ballad written by Kevin Cronin and performed by the American rock band REO Speedwagon. Released in 1980 on the album "Hi Infidelity", this song features the guitar work of Gary Richrath. It was the first REO Speedwagon single to enter the top 50 of the U.S. Billboard Hot 100, and it peaked at number one in March 1981, earning a platinum certification for sales of more than one million copies. It also reached number seven on the UK Singles Chart. Since its release, the song has been a mainstay on 1980s soft rock compilations and has appeared on dozens of greatest hits albums by various artists and REO Speedwagon.
