The chorus repeats the phrase "And when I die" multiple times. In the second verse, the protagonist talks about digging this person up and cooking them in the oven, even though it would harm themselves. They wonder what their mother is cooking and say that she looks like a baby. The chorus is repeated again, with the protagonist questioning if this person loves them and if they want to die.
