"Landslide" is a song written by Stevie Nicks of the band Fleetwood Mac. It was originally released in 1973 on the album Mirage and was later included in several compilations. The song has been covered by many artists, including Smashing Pumpkins, Dixie Chicks and Kelly Clarkson.

"Landslide" was written by Stevie Nicks in 1972, while she was on tour with Fleetwood Mac. The song was inspired by the breakup of her fiancé, actor Dennis Wilson, and her own uncertainty about her future. Nicks said the song was a metaphor for how she was feeling at the time: "I felt like my life was a landslide and I was slipping."

"Landslide" has been covered by many artists over the years. In 1995, Smashing Pumpkins released a version of the song as a single, reaching number eight on the Billboard Hot 100. The song was popularized again in 2002 by the Dixie Chicks, who included it on their album Home. Their version of the song reached number one on the Billboard Country chart and number fifteen on the Hot 100. In 2003, Kelly Clarkson recorded a version of the song for her album Thankful. Her version was a hit in Canada, reaching number four on the Canada Top Singles chart.
