The protagonist is singing about his grand plan to make a large kite with one side red and one side white. He wants to fly the kite and have it carry all the children up into the sky. He sees the children coming from the east and he plans to attach the horses of the wind to the kite. They will then travel to the oceans to see if they are alive. After that, they will fly above the woods and fields with a red and white bird that will lead them to defeat an evil person. Then, they will set fire to and destroy the city. When they return triumphantly, people will ask who the protagonist is, as he has led their children far away. He will then go back up onto his kite in the morning, leaving the children behind, and let them be in charge of their own fate.
