Jackson became the only artist in the history of the chart to have seven commercial singles from a single album in the top five, surpassing a record held by Michael Jackson and Bruce Springsteen. She also became the third woman in chart history to have four number one hits from a single album, following Paula Abdul and Whitney Houston. In addition, she became the first artist to score multiple number one hits on the Hot 100 for a single album in three different calendar years.
