The song tells the story of the protagonist, Luigi the boxer, who had poor eyesight and wore glasses as a child. Because of this, he learned to avoid fights and developed a unique fighting style that allowed him to avoid being hit. He became a boxer but was able to dodge punches because of his poor eyesight. However, when he meets a beautiful woman and takes off his glasses to impress her, he gets hit during a fight and loses his title. Ultimately, he realizes that he doesn't care about winning or losing as long as he can fight in his own unique way.
