They decide they have to move out because the city is starting to come into their town. The protagonist knows someone who can help them move and maybe even help the protagonist with what he needs. They don't want anyone to know where they are going because they want some privacy. They talk about how life is like being a king but also working hard in a band. They want to move far away and they are determined to do it. They believe that if they talk to themselves or with God, they will find the answers they need. The protagonist asks where they are going and wonders about the place. The song repeats the chorus and the line about nobody knowing where they are going. It ends by saying that they live on the edge of town and again mentions that they need to move out because the city is moving in.
