"My Way" is a song from Usher's 1997 self-titled album, which features background vocals and an uncredited rap by Jermaine Dupri. The song's chorus covers Lil' Troy's "Wanna Be a Baller" from his debut album "Sittin' Fat Down South," which was officially released a month before Usher's song. The song is a catchy, driving R&B track with elements of hip-hop that showcases Usher's smooth voice and Jermaine Dupri's rapping skills. The use of Lil' Troy's sample adds a bit of nostalgia to the song, making it a popular choice on many throwback playlists.
