His pet dog bit him and his cat scratched his eyes. His mom got kicked out of her friend group and his dad has to hide from people too because of him. When he went to church in disguise, the Reverend recognized him and punched him in the nose, saying he's sick and obscene. The protagonist decides he's not going to be nice anymore and people are saying bad things about him.
