The protagonist is on a road trip with his partner but something has gone wrong and she drops him off on the side of the road. He is left alone with just the taillights of her truck disappearing into the night and wonders what he did wrong. He tries to find her but is left stranded with his thumb out waiting for a ride. Eventually, he realizes she won't be coming back and he is left alone with just the memories of their failed relationship and the sound of the wind.
