- The Cranberries is an Irish rock band formed in 1989 in Limerick, Ireland.
- The original name of the band was the Cranberry Saw Us.
- The band consisted of singer Niall Quinn, guitarist Noel Hogan, bassist Mike Hogan and drummer Fergal Lawler.
- Dolores O'Riordan replaced Quinn as lead singer in 1990 and the band changed its name to the Cranberries.
