- "Putain de camion" is a song written by Renaud in tribute to his friend Coluche (godfather of his daughter Lolita Séchan), who died in a motorcycle accident on June 19, 1986.

- On June 19, 1986, Renaud was in Montreal when a journalist, who had come to interview him in his hotel room, told him too quickly: "Coluche is dead".
- Renaud did not understand the Quebec accent and thought he understood: "Coluche, in Montreal". He is happy to hear this news, and the journalist looks at him, uncomfortable.
- It is only when he returns to his room that he receives a message announcing him the death of Coluche, his accomplice friend of his beginnings, become the intimate friend and the godfather of his daughter Lolita.
- He wrote the song on the spot on an old Franck Langolff's music, then played on stage this ballad.
