"Queen Bitch" is a song written and performed by English singer-songwriter David Bowie. It first appeared on his album "Hunky Dory" in 1971 and became the B-side of the single "Rebel Rebel" in the UK in 1974. Inspired by the Velvet Underground and Lou Reed, the song was released to BBC radio in June 1971 and recorded at Trident Studios in London with co-producer Ken Scott. Members of the band that would later become the Spiders from Mars - guitarist Mick Ronson, bassist Trevor Bolder and drummer Mick Woodmansey - also participated in the recording process. "Queen Bitch" remains a fan favorite and a testament to Bowie's influence and superb musical abilities.
