Childish Gambino - Short Biography

- Donald McKinley Glover Jr. is an American actor, comedian, singer, writer, director and producer, who performs under the stage name Childish Gambino.
- He was hired by Tina Fey at the age of 23 as a writer for the NBC sitcom 30 Rock.
- He became famous for playing middle schooler Troy Barnes on the NBC sitcom Community from 2009 to 2014.
- From 2016 to 2022, Glover starred in and created the FX series Atlanta.
- He won two Primetime Emmy Awards and two Golden Globe Awards for his work in Atlanta.

In the song, Gambino addresses themes of racial identity and womanhood.
