Imagine Dragons is a pop rock band from Las Vegas, Nevada, consisting of Dan Reynolds, Wayne Sermon, Ben McKee and Daniel Platzman. The band's popularity skyrocketed with the release of their hit single "It's Time" and their debut album Night Visions (2012). "Radioactive" took the industry by storm, earning the title of "Biggest Rock Hit of the Year," and held the record for the most weeks on the Billboard Hot 100. Imagine Dragons was recognized by Billboard as the "Breakthrough Band of 2013," the "Biggest Band of 2017," and topped the "Top Artists - Duo/Group" category in late 2018.

"Roots" is a popular song by American pop rock band Imagine Dragons. Written by band members Ben McKee, Daniel Platzman, Dan Reynolds and Wayne Sermon, along with producer Alex Da Kid, the song was originally released as a non-album single. However, it is now featured as a bonus track on the Japanese edition of their third studio album, "Evolve." The band first performed the song on September 2, 2015, during their Smoke + Mirrors tour in Melbourne, Australia. The video, which was filmed in New Zealand, was released on September 29, 2015.
