"Shock Me" is a song by the American heavy metal band Kiss. The song was first released on their 1977 album "Love Gun" and was written by their lead guitarist, Ace Frehley. In addition to being the song's composer, Frehley also made his debut as lead singer on "Shock Me." The inspiration for the song came from an event during Kiss' Rock and Roll Over tour, where Frehley was nearly electrocuted. Interestingly, "Shock Me" was ranked 50th in the "100 Greatest Guitar Solos of All Time" by Guitar World magazine.
