- Slipknot is an American heavy metal band formed in Des Moines, Iowa in 1995.
- The band settled on nine members for over a decade
- Paul Gray died in 2010 and was replaced by Donnie Steele
- Joey Jordison was fired from the band in 2013 and was joined by Alessandro Venturella and Jay Weinberg.
- Chris Fehn was dismissed from the group in 2019 and was replaced by Michael Pfaff.

- Snuff" reached #2 on the Billboard Hot Mainstream Rock Tracks chart, the highest charting single to date, surpassing "Dead Memories".
- Roadrunner Records placed "Snuff" at number six on its all-time greatest music videos.
- The song was also nominated for Best Single at the 2010 Kerrang! Awards 2010, but lost to "Liquid Confidence" by You Me at Six.
