The protagonist is reminiscing about a past experience where he couldn't remember something, but now he does. He realizes there should be pairs of shoes hanging from wires as a memorial. He feels the need to keep moving and wonders where he should go. He sends out an s.o.s. across the universe, talking to nobody, hoping to get heard and be watched by others. He locks doors and braces himself for more, while searching for something in the sand. He hears s.o.s. signals from below, and continues to send his own s.o.s. He wants everyone to watch until they get heard. As the world starts to change, he feels a little down, but he wants to experience the rain.
