Christine and the Queens is a French singer and songwriter born and raised in Nantes who began learning the piano at the age of four and was inspired by one of the clubs in London while studying. Her debut album, Chaleur humaine (2014), was critically acclaimed, reaching number two on the French and British charts and certified diamond in France. In 2018, she released her second album, Chris, again to very positive reviews. In 2016, she was ranked #1 on the Vanity Fair list of the most influential French personalities.
