The song "Suite: Judy Blue Eyes" by Crosby, Stills, and Nash was written by Stephen Stills in 1968 while he was a member of the band Buffalo Springfield. The song is an ode to Judy Collins, with whom Stills had a romantic relationship. The song was recorded in January 1969 and was included on the album Crosby, Stills And Nash, which was released in May of that year.

"Suite: Judy Blue Eyes" is a long song of seven and a half minutes, divided into several sections. The first section is an acoustic ballad, with Stills singing the first half of the song alone before Crosby and Nash join in for the choruses. The second section is a longer instrumental part, with Nash and Crosby playing slide guitar and Stills playing drums. The third section is a reprise of the acoustic ballad, with all three singers singing together.

The song was a commercial success, reaching number 21 on the Billboard Hot 100, and was popular on FM radio, reaching number 3 on the Billboard FM Playlist chart. The song was nominated for a Grammy Award for Best Pop Performance by a Duo or Group with Vocals in 1970.
