Superstition is a song by Stevie Wonder released in 1972. It was written and composed by Wonder and produced by American producer Roy Ayers. The song is considered one of Wonder's greatest songs and was ranked among the "100 greatest songs of all time" by Rolling Stone magazine. In France, it reached number one in singles sales in 1973.

Superstition is about the different superstitions people have and how they can influence their lives. Wonder said the song was inspired by an experience he had with a spider. He said the spider fell from the ceiling and landed on his guitar. Wonder was scared and threw the spider away, but after that he began to realize that superstitions are stupid.
