"Telegraph Road" is featured on the album "Alchemy: Dire Straits Live," the first live album by British rock band Dire Straits. It was released on February 8, 1984 by Vertigo Records internationally and by Warner Bros. Records in the United States. The album was recorded at London's Hammersmith Odeon on July 22-23, 1983, and contains songs from the band's first four albums, the Extendedanceplay EP, and Mark Knopfler's Local Hero soundtrack. The album contains reworked arrangements and extended improvisational segments of many songs. The album cover is a painting by Brett Whiteley.
