New Kids On The Block - Short Biography

New Kids on the Block (NKOTB) was an American boy band that rose to fame in the late 1980s and early 1990s. The group consisted of five members: brothers Jordan and Jonathan Knight, Joey McIntyre, Donnie Wahlberg and Danny Wood. They were known for their catchy pop songs, synchronized choreography and polished image.
The group's first album, "New Kids on the Block," was released in 1986 and included hit songs such as "Please Don't Go Girl" and "You Got It (The Right Stuff)." Their success continued with subsequent albums and tours, including the 1988 album "Hangin' Tough," which became their biggest hit, selling over 14 million copies worldwide.
NKOTB disbanded in 1994, but reformed in 2008 for a new album and tour. Since then, the band has continued to tour and release new material, with a dedicated fan base that has been loyal to them for decades.
