The protagonist visits a new shop in town that sells movie-related items but finds the owner to be rude and pretentious. The owner doesn't seem to care about customers and has a sign on his face that says he doesn't want to be there. When the protagonist asks about a song playing, the owner responds disdainfully but later reveals it's by Mark Lanegan. The protagonist realizes the owner is actually the singer in a music video they saw on TV the night before and feels disgusted by his behavior. They leave feeling envious but go to sleep.
