"Too Much Heaven" is a song by the Bee Gees, released as part of their contribution to the Music for UNICEF fund in 1979. It was featured on their thirteenth original album, Spirits Having Flown, and became a chart hit in the United States and Canada. In the U.S., "Too Much Heaven" interrupted a song's stay at number one on the Billboard Hot 100, knocking "The Freak" from the top spot for two weeks. It also climbed into the top three in the UK. In the U.S., it would become the fourth of six consecutive number one singles, tying the record set by Bing Crosby, Elvis Presley and the Beatles for the most consecutive number one songs. The six Bee Gees songs are "How Deep Is Your Love," "Stayin' Alive," "Night Fever," "Too Much Heaven," "Tragedy" and "Love You Inside Out" and were released between 1977 and 1979.
