- He made his professional debut at the age of five, in the family group Jackson 5.

- In the early 1970s, he began to make a name for himself as a solo artist with hits such as "Ben" and "Don't Stop 'Til You Get Enough".

- In 1982, he released the album Thriller, which became the best-selling album of all time.

- Jackson is known for his innovative choreography, vocal abilities and big budget music videos.

- He is also known for his commitment to various humanitarian causes.

- In 1993, Jackson was accused of sexual abuse of a minor by a 13-year-old boy. He was acquitted of all charges in 2005.

- In 2009, Jackson died at the age of 50, following an overdose

- Written by Jackie Jackson and fellow Motown veteran Kathy Wakefield, the song is about someone ending a relationship and the torture that can be felt by the relationship member who is still in love with the other person.

- Originally, Jackie was supposed to sing the song with her brother, Michael, but the role of Jackie was given to Jermaine Jackson, whose availability for the album was questioned until the last minute.
