The protagonist believes that God tricked the first man by making him travel through life like a fool, and when the man tried to take the mystery of the forbidden fruit, God stopped him with death and created the seasons. The protagonist is saying that it wasn't God who created the forbidden fruit, but someone on Earth, and they force us to dream in an enchanted garden.
