Robert Clark Seger, better known as Bob Seger, is a beloved American singer, songwriter and musician. He began his career as Bob Seger and the Last Heard in the 1960s and gained local popularity. In 1973, he formed the Silver Bullet Band, which quickly achieved national success. Seger's 1976 album Live Bullet was recorded live with the Silver Bullet Band at Cobo Hall in Detroit, Michigan, and is a testament to his musical prowess. Throughout his career, Seger collaborated extensively with the Muscle Shoals Rhythm Section, which appeared on many hit singles and albums.

"We've Got Tonight" is a popular song written by American rock artist Bob Seger. It was released in 1978 as part of the album Stranger in Town and later became a two-time hit single for Seger. The song was inspired by a song he had written earlier. Over the years, "We've Got Tonite" became a well-known duet, with Kenny Rogers and Sheena Easton on the charts in 1983 and Ronan Keating on the charts in 2002.
