- 4 Non Blondes was a San Francisco-based alternative rock band active between 1989 and 1994.
- The band released an album, Bigger, Better, Faster, More! in 1992.
- The album spent 59 weeks in the Billboard 200 and sold 1.5 million copies.
- In 1993, the album's second single, "What's Up?" became a hit.
- The band disbanded in 1994

- "What's Up?" is a song by American rock band 4 Non Blondes, released in 1993.
- It is the 2nd single from the album Bigger, Better, Faster, More!
- The single was a hit in Brazil and in most European countries.
- The single reached number one in Poland, Austria, Switzerland, Germany, Ireland, Norway and the Netherlands.
- In February 2021, the song reached one billion views on YouTube.
- It also appears in episode 4 (2015) of season 1 and episode 5 (2017) of season 2 (as a remix) of the series Sense8.
- She also appears in Lola vers la mer by Laurent Micheli.
- In 2005, a group of animators known as the "Slackcircus" created a video called "Fabulous Secret Powers," in which He-Man from "Masters of the Universe" sings his own cover of the song (and interpolates the lyrics to Melissa Manchester's "Don't Cry Out Loud").
- The video has since become an Internet meme, with an edited version of the animation (HEYEYEYAAEAAEYAEYEYAA) garnering over 201 million views on YouTube as of September 2022.
