"Wildflowers" is a song beautifully written by Dolly Parton, with the help of Emmylou Harris and Linda Ronstadt. It appears on their 1987 Grammy Award and multi-platinum album "Trio". The original recording of the song featured a delightful blend of autoharp, acoustic guitar and fiddle, arranged to give it an old-time Appalachian folk song feel. "Wildflowers" is a song about the beauty of nature and the love that grows within it. Not surprisingly, it quickly became a fan favorite, reaching #6 on the Billboard Hot Country Singles & Tracks chart in July 1988.
