Scorpions - Short Biography

- Scorpions is a German rock band formed in Hanover in 1965.
- Their musical style ranges from hard rock, heavy metal and glam metal to soft rock.
- The most successful incarnation of the band took place from 1978 to 1992 and included Klaus Meine, Rudolf Schenker, Matthias Jabs, Francis Buchholz and Herman Rarebell.
- Uli Jon Roth was part of the band in the mid-1970s and the band's music is defined as hard rock.
- They have sold over 100 million records worldwide.
- One of their most famous hits is "Wind of Change".
- Two of their songs from Love at First Sting, "Rock You Like a Hurricane" and "Still Loving You," are considered among their most influential and popular works.
- Their latest studio album, Rock Believer, was released in February 2022.
- Scorpions is one of the best-selling hard rock and heavy metal bands.
